Meaning
First, understand what Allah is saying.
Before beginning the recitation, the teacher will explain what the āyah is about and what its meaning conveys. This helps the student understand the passage before beginning to recite it.

Emotion
Identify the emotional atmosphere of the āyah.
The meaning of the Qur’an carries different emotional states. Students learn to recognize the atmosphere of a passage and allow that understanding to influence the character of their recitation.

For this course, Tajwīd is taught as practical, applied recitation, rather than as a separate theory subject.

The goal is not simply to know Tajwīd—it is to make Tajwīd a natural part of the student’s recitation.
